WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:
We have been taking the summer life easy and relaxed while the humans have been doing their summer cleaning.
I was hanging out on the balcony watching the warm wind blow in the grass.
And I was chilling by the roses in the windowsill, watching Lola.
On this one day it was so hot that the humans opened all the doors. And at that moment a certain neighbor cat grabbed his chance!
I saw him running across our garden and around our house towards our front door!
He was coming into our house!
I ran through the house to the front door to scare off this intruder!
Some of you readers may remember him from earlier posts. If not, read about it here, here, here, here and here.
He was now inside our house and someone had to do something about it. So I ran up to Amadeus, who was standing in the hall, and I gave him a fierce hiss!
And he ran away like a little wimp like he does every time there is an encounter with him.
Well, that’s not quite what happened.
Yeah, ok, it didn’t hurt that Zoe chased him out. But my hiss was what sent him running.
Good job, Lola.
Thanks! I’m feeling quite proud of myself now.
FUN FACT
A dolphin calf nurses for up to two years. Calves stay with the mothers anywhere from three to eight years.

Lola thank you for saving Zoe and Sasha from the Demon cat of Tromso.
