Lola’s Circle of Life

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:

Well, I’ve been watching Lola doing her usual OCD routine.  It goes something like this:

Step 1. Asking to be let out at the downstairs door:

d1

Step 2. Going out:

d2

Step 3. Hurrying to the cat stairs so she can get up to the balcony:

d3

Step 4. 30 seconds later she is coming through the catflap:

d4

Step 5. Sniffing the food while coming in:

d5

Step 6. Dashing  towards the stairs so she can repeat the process:

d6

Well, Sasha very well observed! I am flattered that you take such interest in every move i make, but you forgot to say that I do this at least 10 times a day!

FUN FACT:

Alex was an African grey parrot that could count to six. To test him, his trainer would place a tray with five green blocks, six green balls, four rose-coloured balls and three rose-coloured blocks.  She would ask, “How many rose-coloured balls?” Alex would normally respond with the correct answer. To do this, Alex had to understand colours and shapes as well as being able to count, speak and understand spoken words.

  1. Hihi, great and funny point. Lola had an “active” ocd… Literally spoken. What about you, Lola… Maybe a “passive” ocd. Just lying on the couch, waiting to be cuddled, repetitions in waiting… waiting, waiting😋😉

  2. My diagnosis as that you are both wackos, but please never cure yourselves because our world would be dull with out your insanities.

  3. Mette’s comment is super hilarious! I love the expert diagnosis of COCD (cat obsessive compulsive disorder). Lola, why don’t you take one of Sasha’s chill pills?
