WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:
This week Lola has developed a new tic, no, um, I mean trick!
Yeah, I think it’s pretty cool!
This is what I do:
When Zoe is getting ready to go to bed, and she is saying good night to her parents. I quietly sneak into Zoe’s bedroom and hide under her bed.
Then I stay perfectly still until Zoe has finished reading, closed the bedroom door and she has turned off the lights. Then just to be sure that she has fallen asleep I wait a bit longer, and then I slowly and carefully get on the bed, being careful not to wake her up.
If I am successful then I am able to stay there all night!
Well, Lola, you haven’t exactly been so successful the last couple of times! You’ve gotten so confident now that your technique is starting to get sloppy.
Like the other night you got so excited that you started doing that crazy kneading and purring thing once you got on the bed. And then Zoe heard you and she took you out of her room.
And then last night you didn’t hide well enough and Zoe saw you!
Yeah, she caught me red handed. I have to sharpen up my game!
Here is another cool thing that happened this week. Zoe won a drawing contest held by the local animal protection society! The rules were that it had to be a line drawing that had a dog, cat or a rabbit in it. This was her drawing:
It is going to be printed on T-shirts and other products that are going to be sold.
If you lift a kangaroo’s tail off the ground it can’t hop.
