Naughty Christmas

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:

This week (actually last week… Sorry for the late post) we have been helping Zoe open her Christmas calendar gifts!

In particular number 18, a package that we were strangely attracted to even though we didn’t know what was inside.

It wasn’t even the correct day, but we thought we would get a head start by helping her!

Here is a video and a picture of me when I finally got it down:

To my surprise, it was a cat toy!

And not long after that discovery, I got very interested…

Ends and Odds

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:

We have been looking back at some of the little kooky things we’ve done this winter.

We investigated this really stupid cat toy:

I dug in the snow:

*Note: The door sill is about a foot above the ground, so there was a lot of snow out there..*

And this week I watched a really smart crow solving a complicated problem on tv:

I  think that crow is smarter than you, Sasha.

FUN FACT:

Crows are emotional animals. They react to hunger and invasion by vigorously vocalizing their feelings. They display happiness, anger and sadness.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:

We’ve been playing in our new “play house” made out of carpets that Zoe made for us!

It is really fun to attack it like this:

It’s also very nice to just lie down and take a snooze on it until Sasha comes over and starts attacking it and ruins your whole perfectly planned cat nap!

You could try to make this same thing for your cat. Just use some old carpet and some velcro!

FUN FACT:

A grasshopper can leap 20 times the length of its own body.
